2008 U-18 MAROON RICHMOND CUP CHAMPIONS!!!!
Our U-18 Maroon Team are champions of the 2008 Richmond Cup! The tournament was played in Richmond, Virginia. The girls won both games they played Saturday. They defeated a SOCA team 8-0 and a team from Augusta 9-1. Harmon Hall scored five goals on the day for the Sabres to lead them in scoring. Many other girls contributed with goals of their own. Unfotunately, the semifinal and final games on Sunday were cancelled due to weather. Therefore, the tournament decided to name champions based on Saturday's results and because of goal differential, the Sabres were awarded the title! The Richmond Cup championship is the clubs fifth tournament championship. Congratulations ladies!!!!
